LISCR FC may have reached the semifinals of the FA Cup but head coach Tapha Manneh seems not to be satisfy with his side performances on the pitch. Speaking to LISCR FC media after the quarterfinals win over Watanga FC, the gaffer praised his team for the win but said he’s not satisfied with their performances in terms of possession of the ball.
“It was an important win today for the entire team but we have a lot to do. I’m satisfy with the result from today’s match but not the performance on the pitch. We have a lot of work to do with the ball. It’s time we remain focus and work towards our goals and objectives this season”, Tapha said.
Tapha Manneh’s side reached the semifinals of the 2018 Liberia FA Cup after eliminating Watanga Football Club on Saturday, September 29 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
A hard-fought 2-1 win over Watanga FC was enough to help Tapha Manneh’s side continue their title defense. Alloy Brown scored the 26th minute cancelled Watanga FC’s early lead before Sam Kollie scored the match winning goal in the 42nd minute.
